electrohome g07 screen problem
« on: March 22, 2007, 06:42:38 pm »
Hi I have a  capcom 1943 battle at midway game I bought and the monitor was not working. The monitor in the game is an electrohome G07 which I ordered a rebuild kit for from  bob roberts. I replaced the flyback, the HOT, and recapped it. I put the chassis back in the game and fired it up and now the monitor works, but now where there is writing I am seeing double of it. The previous owner said it was working but the monitor just stopped working so I figured it was the flyback which it was. What could be causing the double lettering on the screen? I did the upgrade to the chassis to fix the curl problem but could have doing this caused my new probelm? I have included some pictures so you can see what the screen looks like. Any ideas?

Your monitor is working.  You have a gameboard issue.

Try reseating all the socketed chips on the game pcb. (careful not break any legs)

Thanks for the info I figured it was probably be board. I tried to reseat the chips with no luck. It looks like the board is a bootleg board and not an original capcom board.
