Any sit at cabinets around here?
« on: March 13, 2007, 03:02:14 am »
I haven't been posting regularly for a long time, so I have probably missed a zillion new projects. But has anybody made a sit at cabinet similar to the Japanese "Candy" cabinets? I sold my Candy cabinet back when I sold most of my machines because I thought I was going to move into a motorhome. I REALLY miss that thing. Enough that I would like to have another one.

Building a candy shouldn't be hard at all.

Some useful resources:
http://www.killercabs.com/ has the measurements of several Japanese candy arcade cabs
http://www.candycabinetcity.com/ has several measurements as well plus pictures and hardware information

There are control panel layouts available various places online, and I have a 2 player Sega Astro City control art layout in PSD format on my PC if you need it.

Heh, I spoke too soon. I found out my old Candy cabinet is up for sale (the exact one I sold before). I am just going to buy it back.

I have a megalo 410 and this summer I am hoping to pick up an Astro City model.

Mine was a Super Neo 29. I should have checked the buy/sell/trade forum before posting.
