New CPO is in work and will be attached to the new panel in about two weeks.

Of course it is, one of my favs.....but hey, we have enough generic cabs that can hold the Moon Ranger inside.....no need to "waste" a dedicated Robotron cab  ;)

Your sticks seem a little "low" for Robotron.
NO MORE!!

Congratulations!  Are you planning to do some lighted blue buttons with the new CPO?

Here's a challenge for you. Try to roll the machine at factory settings (Level 5, 25,000 per free man) playing with a buddy using 1 hand each. It's crazy in the beginning but loads of fun when you get good at it. I used to move and my buddy would fire.

Robotron rules. Enjoy.

@(+_+) : playing at factory settings is incredibly hard. I just reached wave 4 .... but I must admit that I'm not the best player  ::)  I hope to improve as time goes by...now that it's running....

@Chris G: those yellow buttons are original in the european version but since the wires are already under the CP I've been thinking about adding some blue translucent and lightened buttons  :)

@RayB: You are right. The original sticks (one was removed and I could not find a second one) had a black cylinder (see http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=56841.0;attach=55004;image) that reached under the panel and the stick was higher. I luckily found two working WICO leaf sticks and gave it a try. I must say that it doesn't make a difference. I played Robotron with higher sticks on my Mame cab and with the short ones ...... no difference :)   Maybe when I attach the new CPO I will remove the wood and make it a little thinner so the sticks will come out a little more.

Always something new to learn about my favorite game... :)
