Wow! That was fun!
« on: March 06, 2007, 07:48:40 pm »
Gave my first private voice lesson tonight to a local student.  It went extremely well for as nervous as we both were!   Furthermore, her Mom paid for next week's lesson in advance.  I guess I impressed them; they're coming back!   ;D

For those not seeing earlier posts of mine here, I have 30 years plus in music; either as a singer, songwriter, or pianist.  I gotta say that this is cool.  This is a job I could fall in love with REAL quick and spend my life enjoying. I know it will take time to build a client base, but tonight did nothing except encourage me to continue to look for ways to build it!

Just remember, if this guy offers you a thousand dollars to start straight away it's time to start worrying...

Congratulations!  There's nothin' like getting paid to do something you love...

Next week is when you whip out your big ten inch
record of the band that plays the blues.

I have lost all faith in your cred as a musician.  You don't know your classic Aerosmith.     :soapbox:

Technically Aerosmith did a cover of it.

Ahhh...he says, a dim light brightening on an otherwise dark bulb.  I don't blame you - I'd have lost confidence in me too.  ;D

I did not know that.  I'm not surprised, though, they do a lot of blues/jazz covers.

He's a voice singing coach Chad, not a caterwauling coach.
NO MORE!!
