You didn't miss anything.  It was just a Star Wars fight scene with Mario Brothers music and sound effects playing over the top of it.  Pretty dopey actually.  I just posted it b/c of the arcade theme.

I remember both "Hardware Wars" AND "Closet Cases..." being on HBO in its early days, usually between movies.   Does anybody remember the one with the guy being invited to someone's office and a reel of  film comes to life and pursues him all over the office?  I remember the only defense was a magnet.....

you know, i first saw hardware wars in a science class in high school! the teacher had a 16mm version. perfect movie for that sort of format...
