Best flash game so far for the Wii?
« on: February 03, 2007, 10:43:47 pm »
Here's my vote.  My wife, without really meaning to (she was researching how to teach our kid how important sleep is),  found "Garfield's Sheep Shot" - a true gem - at this address.  It takes a little while to get used to the controls but works very nicely with the Wii...and the graphics are great, as is the audio!

Here is the link: apparently there are several "sleep" related Garfield games on this site, but "Sheep Shot" definitely rules!  Hit Garfield with the sheep to keep him asleep, while blasting Nermal, Squeak and the alarm clock to keep them from waking him up.  Can you keep him asleep for 9 hours!  Good luck - ain't as easy as it sounds!  Enjoy!  :D

I like 3D Pong the most. I think it's on WiiCade.

The games at http://wiiflow.com/ seem to be of higher quality than wiicade. Although I'm not sure the wiiflow author has a wii, since at least a few of the games don't play well in Flash 7.

I haven't played enough of them to pick a favorite yet though.

They've made all of the Homestar Runner games Wii friendly:  http://www.videlectrix.com/vii/

And pretty much every game from http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/  is great on the Wii.

I love the games at Wiiplayable (www.wiiplayable.com) too.

You know the one fear I have right now is what caused my Wii to die.  Nintendo did not send any useful info, and I am wondering if it caught a virus from our internet surfing.  That doesn't make much sense to me though as the games don't actually download to the system.  At any rate, I've been a bit afraid to go online again.

My Opera browser crashes with some regularity. Once I even had to pull the power to get the wii to respond after a crash.
