Can some of you do a test for me?
http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/

Run the dldi tester and see if it works.  Cyclosds has a dldi file on their website.

I'm not sure if I did the whole process correctly, but this is what I got:

Code: [Select]
Initing Fat...okay

Read Test:
Opening...fail
Error 2: No such file or directory
          --- STOP ---

This is what I did:

1. Downloaded CDS DLDI file from their website
2.  Downloaded DLDI_Teater.NDS from above linked site
3.  Patched tester file with DLDI file using GUI patcher from above linked site
4.  Duplicated patched tester file
5.  Copied 1 copy of patched tester file to SD card
6.  Used CDS's rom patcher to "load" 2nd copy of tester file to the SD card (in case that was necessary.

Same results from both NDS files.

Is that what you are getting?

Yeah.  I even tried with the Supercard dldi file since people are saying the firmware of the cyclods is virtually identical (just the id tag is different).  I even patched it with the supercard "moon" dldi hack file.

Have you tried any homebrew that saves to disk that doesn't use dldi (like an older dsorganize?).

Also the sram saving isn't working.

I emailed them on friday about the problem.  I haven't heard anything yet.  I would have assumed they tried the dldi file out before releasing it.

I haven't tried much homebrew yet.  (Been too busy boxing and shipping, lol)

But if there is any particular program that you'd like me to try (and its easy to setup, lol), I'll be more than happy to do so.

I tried to patch the Comic Book DS program with the official CycloDS DLDI file and it failed.  It runs fine on my R4 after I patch.

I think it's safe to say that the CycloDS DLDI file doesn't work.   :censored:

yeah, that was my whole reason to get it.  I might have to sell it and get a supercard.
