Changing Video Card BIOS Refresh Rates

I found a couple thin clients, and while doing research on how to get them to run, I found this page:

Down about 2/3 way there's a link to changing your motherboard or videocard BIOS to output at a rate a regular arcade monitor can understand.

Hope this helps someone with a project!
