VGA to RGB SCART Direct Drive with ATi Radeon Family Cards
« on: February 19, 2007, 12:47:16 pm »
Hi there!

I'm thinking about buying a old television to connect my PC and run AdvaceMAME in order to surpass the resolution issues. For that i'll follow this tutorial http://www.idiots.org.uk/vga_rgb_scart/ and build my own cable to connect to my ATI Radeon 9200. (Just for testing purposes)

Although it seems straightfoward, i'm affraid of what it could happen if things go wrong like bad soldering or even with the configuration of AdvanceMAME properly to run the games at their native resolutions and frequencies.

Has anyone here build something like this? If so, could you post some information about it please? :)

Thanks in advance!
