A couple grand to restore?  Are you going to pay a callgirl to do it?  A few hundred, maybe, if you wanted to buy fulling working strong condition parts.  You could do that without a ton of cost if you already had a monitor and had some decent sources for everything else.

Roger that..  For example..

Well... the thing sells for quite a bit. Sounds like you should've bought it, fixed it up, and resold it.  ;)

I wish... living in Western Australia narrows down sensible arcade acquisitions a bit!!!  ;):)

There's actually a site that has stuff like that.  The guy makes 'em special.  Just in case, no this isn't spam.  I never would've thought down this path myself.

Well i bought the cab. I have the Marquee, harness, working board set, bezel. I have the guts for the CP but will still need to get a CP and CPO. The DOT cab these parts came from except for the bezel which i got from Quarterarcade fell apart some time back. Too much water damage im afraid.. :(
When i get the cab delivered i will take pics of the progress as it goes.

Cool, it's good to see sombody with good motives got this cab.  Well I guess I don't actually know your motives, but it doesn't sound like you were shoping for firewood.

Congratulations on your new cab.

I have a Tron CP that I would be able to sell.  I don't recall how different a DOT CP was from Tron.  Any ideas?

If you are interested, please send me a PM.

I have an empty DOT CP that I would sell. Not sure what it's worth though. It will need a new cpo of course. Will post pics if needed.

Here are the pics. If it wasn't for the strip on the bend missing the cp doesn't look that bad.

It really doesn't.  It would be worth trying a paint job on that spot just to see how it looks before stripping it.

It's worth whatever somebody is prepared to pay for it.

In this case it can't exacly be described as mint.... so it's not a collectors item. What you're selling is a bent piece of sheet metal with some holes and a badly damaged piece of artwork that effectively needs replacing..... Figure it out for yourself, we ain't talking mega bucks here.

Well i am back from all my trade shows and have finally got a chance to look the cab over. Isnt bad shape, will need some repair to bottom 1/2" of cab but nothing i havent seen before in Midway cabs like this. Any chance other DOT upright owners can take pics of how the monitor mounts would be greatly appreciated.

I would pay $50 for that CP if thats reasonable get back with me on it. Been testing the marquee to see if it fits and the bezel appear to line up perfectly. Still confused as my bezel appears to match the inner artwork of this cab but the pics of the bezels on KLOV dont match what i have.

I will take pics and post as i get further along with the project. So far the three black lights work and the marquee light still works.
