Monitor behaving weird
« on: February 04, 2007, 04:24:41 pm »
I have a multisync arcade monitor using the new PCI-E arcadevga2 video card and am experiencing wierd behavior after about 5 minutes of use.  I don't know if its the monitor or video card.

Its very hard for me to explain.  The best way I could describe it is the colors start losing their vividness.  Almost like its cycling thru different hues of colors.  There is like a yellowish hue that is cast over the whole screen and flickers a little.

What the heck is going on?  Resolution set at 800x600 @ 56 hertz.

How would I go about doing that as the cable is attached to the monitor?  I assume its easy to replace then.

Ah, one of those.  No, it's not particularly easy.

With it on, *gently* manipulate the connector where it is hooked to your VGA card.  Note what happens on screen.  Does it change?
