i need help with my HAPP vision pro 27"
« on: February 02, 2007, 08:55:15 pm »
i recently got my monitor back from repair for no picture on a new monitor issue,...but it appears they didnt tighten down the tuning rings on the neck, so i imagine the travel back caused them all to fall even. my problem now tho is two things---

-one, the overall picture has a purple haze to it, there is no true black because it looks like their is too much purple, and  its more noticable with white images

-two, the image is extremely large and using the on-screen controls cant fit to screen, it says "min" on the horizontal size icon and the image is cutoff on the left or right depending on h position. - the start menu is cutoff

!?!?-is this due to the tuning rings or something else.  all but two rings are laying flat. i know it wasnt like that when i sent it to them. the monitor has less than one hour of on-time, so im frustrated with HAPP as this is the third attempt to resolve the issues and is getting costly.
-any outside help would be greatly appreciated, ive been without my machine for months now

The "Vision Pro" models are actually made by Tovis (www.tovism.com).

ken, thanks for showing me that website, after translating it tho i couldnt find the information i was looking for,, however it did lead me to find info on the rings on the neck and by doing so i was able to cure the purple haze and learn a thing or two about what they do, fortunatly for me after i learned the possibliy of there being a factory felt line i was able to line them back up....but it didnt fix the images size....is this convergance?? and is this something that i would only make worse if started messing with?,  i was able to find some inormation on convergance on the net but it didnt seem to coincide with the rings...could you point me in the right direction maybe as i continue to research? thanks for any help..
