Anyone own a dead Philips Pronto TSU3000
« on: January 27, 2007, 01:00:16 am »
Mine died and I found out that Philips is doing a special out of warranty repair/replacement because it is a quality problem on their end.

I sent mine back for repair and they sent me a new TSU3500 with docking station.

That's nice to see them stand behind the product... that doesn't seem to happen much these days.

I had a TSU3000 a year or so ago and really liked it.  I've since sold it, but that was a great little remote.

The "special" out of warranty offer came about due to a bunch of vocal people on RemoteCentral.com.

I was going to put the word out here so people could take advantage of the offer.
