Seems I have broken the rules. Here is post #1. I apologize, I did not realized I needed to post in here 10 times before posting in the p&r forum.

Because I like to discuss them on different forums. Plus, humans are fascinating creatures. I am a member of several different forums. I like variety.

Thanks for the welcome, though I would not consider me to be a hardliner. LOL! People fascinate me as do how their minds work. Plus, I love the different opinions and ideas that people bat about.

I'm curious as to what brought you to this forum other than an interest in the world-reknown politics and religion forum. Were you a lurker with an interest in gaming or does a Google search on "political and religous discussion" bring up the BYOAC site?

Just wondering and I'm sure you don't mind as it helps you get those ten posts that much more quickly.

LOL! Actually, my husband is a member of the board and there was a conversation going on that I wanted to participate in. He encouraged me NOT to join, and from some of the posts in there I can see why.

The other reason, is that like I said, I find humans fascinating, especially when they are discussing religion and politics. I have been a member of various board, the plain Christian forums I find very dull and very anal in how they behave with people. The more secular I find to be a bit dull also as they also seem to be rather anal in their behavior.

There seemed to be a good variety here, so here I am.

Well, there's not currently a minimum post count to join any forum but Buy/Sell/Trade

EE can be a fun place to hang out too though

I am sure I will, but since the p&r forum seems to be a stickler for certain rules and such, I thouhgt I better head over here and be a good little girl before I get lambasted some more.

It is a good thing that I find political and religious discussions so fun! Plus, watching human reaction to replies and questions is really rather fascinating. I will have to see if I can dig up some of my mom's cajun recipes to share at a later time.

Will there be pre-emptive martyrdom every time something is brought up? Since you've said you've read the rules, then you should know you haven't broken them, and are merely overreacting to what has been put forth, and the very fact that you were able to post in P&R prior to this points to there being no "need" for you to do so.
