New type of Wii injury
« on: January 17, 2007, 02:42:03 am »
Hi,

I was playing Rayman last night, and when I switched off I put the remote and nunchuck in my lap. I lifted my arm to scratch my head and whacked myself with the bottom corner of the wiimote in my eye. Forgot to undo the strap!

 :dizzy:

I hadn't even had a few beers I could blame it on. I think our 3 year old got a good laugh out of it: he loves watching Rayman and shouts "Daaaaaah!" when they come on screen, but he nearly bust a gut laughing at me trying not to curse profusely and loudly after the , ahem, "incident".

No bruising (yet) but I'm going to phone a lawyer today and Nintendo better watch out! ;)

I think the mental scars will be here for a long time...

I keep getting scratched on the inside of my left hand from my right pinky nail when I play baseball. It's not punching myself out with a Wii remote, but it is a self inflicted injury nonetheless.
I've got a fever...

  • I'd say the same about a good chunk of the people posting in PnR, including myself.

I haven't managed to whack myself yet, but I've put down the remote and walked away without taking the strap off.
