Mame not working in Mala

Please be kind as I am very new to front ends. 

I am using Mala 1.0 rev8 with Mame 0.111.  All tested games work fine in Mame alone, but when I try and select them in Mala, I get files missing errors and back to the game list.  I have only done the basic configuratioins of selecting the directories and mame exe, etc.  What could be causing this to happen?

Have right clicked within the Mala menu and selected refresh game list?

Mame or Mame32?  Please post a screen shot of your mala - mame set-up

Figured it out.  I didn't set the rom path from within mame.  I guess since you have to set a rom patch in mala, the mame rom patch wouldn't matter.  Oh well.

Ahh no

The rom path in mame.ini is for mame to launch games

The rom path in MaLa is for it to generate an initial 'All Games' list
