Cheap router at "Formido" (the Netherlands) 34.95Euro ($45)
« on: January 15, 2007, 05:48:15 am »
For everyone located in the Netherlands underneath router (dutch "Bovenfrees") maybe a good deal. It's not the bestbuy, but good enough to check it out. This deal only lasts this week, so hurry. I'm thinking to buy it myself, coz I just could borrow a router.

Hmmm... picture seems a bit scrambled.

Well, the URL is bad (wasn't bad, but I can't accept cookies here)... it doesn't work directly from the site either. From the picture in the overview it's not the kind I'm looking for. And, are bits included? I'll go with the more traditional looking router. ;D

This is the one....
It doesn't say anything about the bits, so no idea :-/

It's a different one then I thought it was... nice with that glidding support thing. I'll have a better look at it.
BTW I don't need it right away either, but in the near future.

Just looked on the site... it seems that the ruler (the "Line Master lineaal") on the picture is mandatory for operation. Right, and that's NOT included in the package... it's 34.95 euro.

I went for a more expensive Black&Decker one since that had a holder for bits with imperial measurements (guess it was 1/4"or something) I couldn't find the t-molding bits in the Netherlands so I bought them from the states and needed them to fit in my router. It was 60 euro or something.

I also bought a T-molding bit from the US. That didn't fit really well in my father-in-law's router. But the bit couldn't resist the strength of the hammer (just gentle ;)) In the end I found a place where they could order a bit. :P
But, you got a point there.

BTW very nice pocket arcade! :applaud:

Hmm, I think when I start I'll first check what they have for rent.
I don't thnk I will use it that much after I build the cab anyway, and that rented stuff is prolly of good quality. :)
