advcab & 320x200 problem
« on: January 10, 2007, 01:10:24 am »
Hi guys!  Have almost finished my first cab - old poker/slot machine converted to dos mame and doscab jukebox. So far after heeps of mucking around everything is working ok except for 320x200 graphics mode. The only way for it to display unscrambled is to break the sync to the monitor by disconnecting/reconnecting or putting the pc into and out of standby. No problems showing in advv. The video is a SIS620 on board feeding into a Rodo chassis .I have the H&V sync wires joined. Do I need a converter circuit, or could it just be more tweaking modelines? Any clues?
TIA blicky
