d9200 Factory Mode values *help from d9200 owners*
« on: January 04, 2007, 08:43:11 pm »
Maybe about 6 months or so ago, I pulled the AC plug from the power strip for my monitor so the monitor wasn't on overnight as the pc defragged. The next

morning when I plugged it back in, the picture was VERY dim. After a number of emails back and forth with WG's horrible tech support, which offered no help at

all, I realized I was on my own.

All they could give me was how to reset the monitor back to default (they claimed the settings became corrupt) and how to get into factory setup mode and fend

for myself. So this is the problem:

Some colors are more dim then others, like backgrounds are often dark in games, yet the character and health bar, effects, scores are bright.

These show the No Signal image, anybody who has seen this before knows right away that it's very dark:

Here is some shots. A little blurry, but the brightness of the colors are all there:

Here is how addams family is supposed to look, as you can see the background blue windows are totally not visible on my monitor in the above pics:

Guardian Force Comparison (notice the brown ground is not visible on my monitor):

The factory mode adjustments offered slight help, but now when the screen should have an all black background (like in windows) it has a redish tone. Yet if I

turn down red, I lose too much red where it is needed. Basically everything is thrown off.

What I'm asking is just for any who have a d9200 to go into the factory mode (by holding Down & Sel buttons for a few seconds) and post what their values are so

I can try them. I'm sure every monitor is slightly different, but I lost all my original values that were set by the factory when they fine tuned it.

Here are my settings right now:

Thanks for anybody who can help.
