Mortal Kombat side art/paint stripping restoration..Need advice

I now have both of the sides fully stripped and im pretty happy with the results. The cab was painted green and I have stripped the paint off in hopes to save the side art.  I have been touching up with sharpies and they dont seem to go on to thick. What type of marker do you guys recommend to touch up side art? Here are some pics of my restoration:

I'm not sure what type of paint you should use for touch ups, but from the first pic, in the future I would suggest using a plastic putty knife and not a metal one.  It's more forgiving and less likely to dig into the underlying artwork.  Maybe some paint pens at Wal-Mart or something for touching up?

Yeah, definately wasnt smart going with the metal scraper...I suppose i will go to walmart and see what i can dig up.

after hours and about $50.00 worth of various cleaner's the best thing i have found out of oven cleaner wd-40 wax remover windex tile cleaner etc.
was finger nail polish/glue remover and cotton ball's I held the cotton wad over the end of the bottom and got it semi soaked if you get it to much is make's the glue runny and a mess if not enough the cotton sticks and make's a mess

I have leanred a good lesson do not take a dediacted vitua fighter cabinet and pull the huge side off by hand I did and left 90% of te glue and 3 bottle's of nail polish remover and 2 bag's of cotton ball's I now have a very clean machine and not one scratch from any puddy sand paper etc. I also suggest to clean the cab's without the piant I wiped the whole machine down and it looked great again but if you have a painted cab don't use it becuase it will make the paint run like no other.

Try Motsenbocker's Lift Off #4.  It does very well at removing paint from cabinets.  It's at Home Depot and I'm sure other places.



I did something similar tying a couple of different methods.  I tried break cleaner & then Lift Off.  Lift Off worked very well.
