OH man, this comes out AFTER I order my M3 Lite Perfect.  Dang
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

There's a bunch of new slot 1 devices soming out.  R4DS, Supercard DS, M3 Simply DS.

I am going to wait until reviews come out.  Looking at the specs Supercard and R4DS look the most promising.

I will say, though, dsx support is awesome.  I happen to get a defective dsx and was able to get instant support (via their irc chat room).

Wow that is quite a price difference from the DS-X!  I haven't been able to order a DS-X for lack of availability.  Good thing.

SirPoonga, this M3 Simply looks to have the same features as the others, whats more promising about the others?

I'm gonna hold off till Gbatemp does it's reviews, but I'll probably wind up going with the M3 simply, because my M3 CF has never done me wrong. Gbatemp is actually in the processes of reviewing like 7 or so new flash units, I guess every company wanted to try and get their new flash cards out before Christmas.

Supercard has their software.  You don't need their software but you can add features like soft reset.  R4DS posted their I/O interface source code so homebrew will be able to access that.

I would love to pick up a cheaper card for my son since he uses my DS-X all the time. Hopefully the reviews will be good on the M3 or the Supercard and I can get on for less than the DS-X is.

That's a heck of a price difference! Are there any comparison charts for features between this and the DS-X?

I'll probably buy a Supercard once they come out.  They look pretty nice.

There are a few on the Gbatemp.net forum that already have the Supercard. You can check out the thread over there.

I think I will wait until they review the M3.
