Top of screen slightly skewed
« on: December 18, 2006, 05:21:56 pm »
I have a Wells-Gardner K7000 series display.  I have the manual downloaded and printed.

At the very top of the screen, it skews about 1 inch worth of the display off to the left about 3 or so inches.  I've been told that it could be a bad capacitor, or it could be some some of the internal settings.  Anybody know what *typically* could cause these symptoms so I can narrow my search?

*EDIT*

I'll be taking a picture of my monitor to show you guys what I am talking about.

I just posted a similar response in another thread!!!  Just coincidence.

I have had that same thing happen on a Lethal Enforcers II.  Mine was a problem with the sync connection.  All the warnings about monitors apply so be careful, but I wild "poke at"  the sync wire(s) to see if you have a spotty connection.

I got it fixed... I had to switch one of the outputs to the monitor from negative-vertical to negative-horizontal.  Now I just need to adjust the horizontal width and I had to purchase a special tool for that.

Then I begin work on my new marquee.
