I have to say, that is one cool table. I would probably play with it for the first month just opening it and closing it.

Add an AC motor with a couple of switches, a remote sensor, and boom, you have a remote controlled transforming table.

Can you imagine the looks on your guests faces if you pull that DURING a dinner party?

Very cool table...I'm sure it costs a pretty penny as the two "featured" were on multi-million dollar yachts....

On the thread on gizmodo they claim it costs $95K. That's impressive too.

They should do it in a square form though. Maybe like that Ligne Rosset coffee table

For $95,000 Reese Witherspoon better be sitting on it naked when they set it up.

What the frelll?  i was expecting a transformer pardoy of the last supper or an actual (ie Optimus Prime) theme table.

on a brighter note i think its something i would want though if it was motorized id be playing with it all week.

some funny comments from then link
"also had I been King Arthur I would've liked this table, one of those knights pisses me off, I lob off his head, and shrink down our round table a bit."
"WARNING - Table has been known to consume small children, pets and appendages."
"Now, to join the tablebots in battle against the evil chairocons. Transfurniture, furnishings in disguise!"

When I was 8 I told my grandfather I wanted a Transformer for Christmas.  He looked at me like I had ten heads but said "erm, okay".  Christmas morning I opened up his gift and inside was a double wind electrical transformer.  He was so proud.

Seriously.   :laugh2:

The same thing happens on search engines when you search tranformers.  chad maybe it was a transformer but it transforms into a transformer.  kinda like when they buried optimus into the transformer who was a coffin.

wait why is it that i have to sniff whiteout to be normal?  your statement confuses me a little.

I think SithMaster picked the wrong week to quit sniffing whiteout.

yeah.....so which transformer did you want?  if i could have anyone it would be the walter megatron italian version.  i was at toysrus and they had a new megatron which was a gun but it was like a nerf gun and the scope from gunform was the cannon in robot form.

but yeah tables are awesome.  the only thing is that if its in the smaller form there might be stuff around it that when its made larger might hinder it somewhat.  like chairs or something.  and it means it cant be next to a wall.

wait it looks like the iris from stargate.

IIRC, that Christmas was the Christmas to get Starscream.  Or maybe Megatron.  It was definitely a first gen Transformer that year.

It got better, though, as a couple months later I found an Optimus Prime at the park that was only missing one leg.   ;D

It had the trailer and the little buggy (forget his name).

IIRC the first Optimus Prime didn't have any electronics.  I still have that one but the trailer is long gone.  May still have the buggy.  I eventually got him a replacement leg.

i thought he had a black box with a chrome autobot logo that had like 4 buttons on top.  it would connect to the trailer when in vehicle mode.

i remember geting my optimus and megatron at bradlees.  i felt a little disappointed becuase optimus was gen 1 and megatron was the gen2 tank.  i was happy with them but it was like why isnt he a cannon?

I remember a shield, now that I think about it, but it didn't have anything that attached to it.  I could be wrong as mine wasn't new.

I had Megatron and Starscream for a while.  No idea what happened to Starscream, I traded Megatron for Shockwave.  I still have Shockwave though my brother broke his arm off in like 1987.   :laugh2:

maybe mine was a remake or something.  maybe ill find the box it came in someday.

wait you traded megatron for soundwave?  which megatron?  ive been trying to find a soundwave for cheap on ebay for the longest time.  i want to put an mp3 player into him so it actually can play tunes.  and it will look better than the cassestte one they made for him.
