  • Still using screenshots? Try EmuMovies instead.

I have been searching and searching and I probably just missed it but I am finally adding PC Games to my arcade cabinet and I want to run them through Mala.  Now I started with making batch files to load the games but the problem that I am having with that is if there is a space in the names it will not load.  If I rename the file to a dos type name (no spaces) then it works.  But I am not sure if that will cause me some problems with some games.  So my question is, are .bat  files the best solution here?

Second question, and my searches are not working to good on this one either, is there a good how-to on here for using CD images with Mala?  I know it is here somewhere but I just can't find it.

Thanks!

A little incentive for you video lovers, once I get this working you can expect EmuMovies sets for cabinet based PC Games  ;D

OK I found information for mamewah using .lnk files but I can't get them to work in Mala.  Is there any way to make Mala compatible with these files?

You can launch .lnk (shortcut files) with MaLa. I have done it and it works well.

Check out this page:
It shows you how to use .lnk and it also has a link to UncleT's set-up guide that may help you set-up Emus

Put quotes around the names in your batch file?

Not sure about Mala as I dont have it to hand, but you need to put " around anything with a space from command line as otherwise its treated as a seperate argument.
