360 and a HD plasma
« on: December 03, 2006, 06:22:52 pm »
I bought myself a 360 today along with with 3 games including dead rising, one hell of a funny game  :laugh2:
Anyhow, I've discovered my 6 year old TV sucks and does this console no justice, now after xmas I'm getting a new TV but I need to know how good the 360 will look on a 42" or 50" HD plasma.

All the TV's I saw showing the 360 where roughly 32" LCD, will the picture look as good on the 50" as the 42"? or are these too big for the picture to look as good as possible.
I would rather the opinion of someone who has a 360 and a large plasma than the advice of a commission driven salesman  :P

it will look fine. 720p on a 42 and 50 inch tv or bigger looks great, it won't be any different with a quality hd 360 title...gears of war comes to mind...

I have an xbox 360 with a 50" DLP rear projection TV. I imagine the image clarity is similar. It looks great. No complaints here.

hey sealslayer, are you dead set on a plasma?  or would you go for an LCD, or like a DLP?  i have a 65" DLP.  i'm very impressed with it's full range.  my friends were loving it playing their 360 on it.  i don't know, i think it kind of depends on your budget, because you can get some very nice LCD projections and save some bucks.  but it's up to you and stuff.
this bozo thinks, so therefore he definitely is a bozo
