MaLa error, need translation help

I had some problems with games playing very choppy, and with the help of you guys, I found that my setup needed an older version of Mame to play nice and smooth. I am currently setting up all the other stuff now (marquees, control panels, etc) and every once in a while, I will get an error in MaLa that closes it down. The error that pops into the mala.exe text file is this:
(excuse any typos, I had to copy this down by hand from the other computer)
Error: object class: TfrmInfo, Object function, GpKeyboardHook1KeyAction, Exception Class: EStringListError, Exception Message: Der Index der liste uberschreitet das Maximum (-1)
I'm pretty sure this has only shown up after I was hitting the key to see the History and CP and things like that.

It seems as if I only get this error when I open an info window for a game that does not have any recommended games. It will bring up the history, then controls, etc then as soon as I get to recommended games, it pops up the error and closes MaLa. Is there a way to turn off the recommended games window?
