Only other people's Miis will show up, if set to mingle, and they weren't sent directly.  And if you do get any there and you move them to the Mii plaza, they won't show up in the parade anymore.  There's no way to move Miis from the plaza to the parade.  It's a little silly and confusing.

I see them show up around the same time that someone new goes active on my list.

Another question what is the Mii parade, whenever I go it says no one is around.

I'd like to reiterate this question.  I assume that any Miis set to mingle will automatically show up here, but how long does it take?  Weeks?
I think I have almost 60 in my Mii parade now.  If your is still empty, then make sure the settings on your Wii are correct.

Wii Connect24 is on.  Travel settings are set to travel.  Wiis are set to mingle on both machines.  They've been set up this way for almost a week now.  Are there any other relevant settings I'm missing?  Mii's that are sent individually from one Wii to another transfer in just a couple of minutes.

Just FYI for those still sending Miis our way - If you get any sort of error message, just know that our Mii Plaza is full, with 100 little Miis running all over the place.  Wife and I need to sit down this weekend and "delete" a few clones made by our daughter, et. al...

Out of curiosity, as your Plaza becomes full, blow the whistle and watch them closely....there is always one or two little Miis who get tripped up trying to grab a particular spot in line!   :D

The new wii mall application is probably the best bet for trading wii's at this point.  Get yourself a 5 dollar bluetooth adaptor and the rest is pretty much "automagic."  I don't know much about it though as I'm STILL waiting for my bluetooth adaptor to arrive.

It appears that you'll have to change my Wii code later in the week...just checked the Nintendo site and they apparently are sending a replacement Wii to me free of charge (see "My Wii is dead" post).   However, the one they're sending holds a different serial number to my original.

If the code changes I will let you know once we get it back -  looking forward to "repopulating" our Mii Plaza in either case!

Hey all,

Our new Wii finally arrived about 7 PM last night, after sitting home all day waiting for it to arrive (didn't matter, rained ALL DAY in GA).

Our new Wii code is: 1601 4533 2917 3288

We lost all our Wii save data, and the only thing that kills me out of that is that I lost 30 hours of play time on Twilight Princess and our  Miis.  However, my Wii points (all 1400) were still there and it's been NO trouble restoring the games we'd downloaded via VC.

I have Munny's, Tent's, Spheter's and Versa's numbers in the new Wii as of right now.  It will probably be late tonight before I have ALL the numbers reentered (yes, I have to do that too...oh well).

Right now, I'm just glad to be back in the game - that was a LONG 3 weeks!   This is the only console I've ever played out (if that was what did it) and sent off to be repaired....I hope that's the last time too!

That seems like terrible customer service.  Your saved data should have been transferred.  It's just sitting on some built-in flash media.  It could easily have been transferred to the new one and practically no cost, but even at a cost it should have been done.  That's 30 hours of your life they just stole (or maybe 15 since doing it over again won't take as long, but it won't be as much fun either).  Please write a letter to the company explaining your disappointment.  Company's only do this kind of thing because they believe that they can get away with it.  You should be really angry that they did not save your data, and they should know about it.  It was their faulty product that forced you to have to send your Wii in, and they should make every effort to minimize the problem it is for you.  It would have taken them five minutes to get that data off for you.

That just burns ---my bottom---.  I love Nintendo for their incredibly long history of innovation and mind boggling track record of brilliant games.  But they've always been arrogant sonsofbitches.  They have a history of thinking that they can get away with anything they want to because they're Nintendo.

Write.  A.  Letter.

Worst case scenario is nothing comes of it.  There's a decent chance, though, that they'll send you a gift certificate to the Nintendo store or give you some free Wii points.

FINALLY!  Everyone's Wii code is now in our new unit - hopefully in a few days our new Miis will make the rounds (mine looks similar to the first Professor, but my wife's - Ducky II - looks a good bit different).

Well now that I have my Wii from repairs, all of my save data has been erased and my Wii's code has been changed.   :banghead:

My new code is: 6313 3097 8024 8430

I've added everyone whos given their code here, and if anyone happens to have any of the Mii's I created (either in your parade, or one that I sent you) I would really appreciate if you could send it back to me  ;D  Some of the Mii's I created are a charlie brown, Lucy, Adam (me), and Walter (from Big Lebowski).  I know I created a few others, but these are all that come to mind at the moment.  Anyways, if you happen to see any with a creators name of AtomSmash, could you please send them my way.  Thank you.

Is there any purpose to exchanging Wii codes aside from the Mii parade and sending messages?  I'm under the impression that every game has its own, separate friend code system.  Is this correct?

By the games I've seen that are Wifi, yes, that's true.  It is irritating, I'll grant you that.  Why in the world couldn't my Super Strikers or PBR code be the same as the Wii code Nintendo?  Or at least add an option to obtain friend codes after a battle instead of just battle cards?

That's what I thought.  I just can't be bothered to be exchanging, and entering in without a keyboard, a bunch of numbers just so my Wii Parade, a feature that is absolutely meaningless to me, will have a bunch more random characters in it.  Those codes are a pain to put in.  If they aren't going to provide me with any benefit, I'm not going to put them in.  Someone wondered earlier in this thread why I hadn't bothered to share my code, and that's why.  It's because I have no plans to reciprocate by entering any of your codes, so what's the use in giving my code out and subjecting any of you to the inconvenience of entering in my code?

I have 7 friend tokens so far and I'm willing to trade on a 1 to 1 basis.  Please though, just mp3, I have no desire to use mii parades and what-not.  I dunno who has the game here yet, so just add me and send me an email (to the wii) or pm me here when you want to trade.

if you do not want others mii's in your parade you have to make sure travel settings are turned off on your console.

people can't pick who their mii's travel to once both parties have each other registered, and travel settings are on...

Is there any point to WiiConnect24 other than this Mii parade stuff?  If there is, I haven't found it yet - I turned it off to reduce wear on the console.

Keeps the news and weather updated.  Ensures you receive messages from friends and Nintendo.  If you have a fast wireless connection going, it may not be worth it.

I have a wired connection so speed is definitely not an issue.  It did tell me the News Channel doesn't work at all unless you have WiiConnect24 on.  It doesn't even try.

I think I'm going to leave it off.  If there isn't any gaming reason to have it on, no point for me, much like shmokes.

I leave mine off as well.  Everything you absolutely require to play doesn't need it on.  I thought weather needed it on as well.  It's just a waste of electricity, I think.  System updates can be done manually when any channel says it's needed.

It does... which doesn't make sense.  It should be able to just pull on demand.  I have to say I'm really disappointed with the Wii's online capabilities.

I'm anticipating Smash Bros and Kart.  Smash Bros especially.  Online play is going to rock some sweet ass.

First bump in over 2 months, but I figured it was time we got an update as to who had the codes.  I've noticed in various threads that some have long since removed their Wii from active use by selling it or letting it collect dust. ;D

Mine's still active, thanks mostly to We Ski, MarioKart and the still popular Wii Sports.

Anyone else?

*EDIT* --  Once the list is reconfirmed, I'll start re-adding everyone's codes back.  My Mii's are getting lonely...

Still active here - was busy for 4 hours (yes, somewhat embarrased that I have that kind of time right now) yesterday.

My right thumb's numb from excessive Mario Kart. I love Smash Bros., but the wheel for Kart I actually dig and can't seem to get enough of.

BTW, I'll post this here just to avoid starting a new thread - new upgrade allows one to move Miis back and forth from parade to plaza (although they do lose their birthdays, etc).  What it means is that for those of us who love the little creations now have a space to store an additional 100 (I think) besides just the Mii Plaza.
