Mame software to manage roms
« on: November 21, 2006, 06:28:29 pm »
I'm SURE someone here will be using something like I am looking for. I'm not looking for a Rom Manager such as clrmame. I'm looking for a ROM manager that allows you to configure what Roms you actually want. Possibly something that allows you to delete, move or copy roms or groups of roms in a logical way.

There are often times that I want to take roms off my main system and put them on my laptop or another system I have but it's a chore going through the MAME rom folder especially with the rom filenames (I have to check the real name and compare it to the filename and then copy). I don't know how long I've wished MAME32 was a file manager as well and allowed you to copy games or delete games from within.

I suppose worst case scenario I could convert my favorites.ini folder into a batch file that copies those roms.
