Pac-Man side art options for bartops?
« on: November 14, 2006, 10:55:16 am »
I was wondering what ideas anyone had for Pac-Man side art for bartop sized cabs?  I have the sides painted yellow already, but was not sure how I was going to continue.  I'm not sure what a sticker would look like.  Anyone have any experience with perhaps a transparent sticker overlay, that just showed the main design?

Thanks for any insight!

I always thought that unless the sticker covered the entire side, it would be very apparent where the transparent sticker ended. Why not just use parts of the original art, like the ghost and Pac from the original marquee:

Or take something that is out there and tweek it to work. I used the 25th anniversary image and changed it for use on my Pac Man cabinet that I put the 96 in 1 board in:

Either way I would cut out the sticker to be flush with the image, not use any transparency.
