KSU beat UT!

I've never stepped foot in Kansas, but I have to tip my hat to them for KSU beating UT in football tonight. i'm sure people will make excuses, but it was a fair game. As a loyal Texas A&M fan, I must admit I'm pretty happy (even tthough we lost our own game by 1 point tonight to Nebraska)!

But what happend to you guys?  One second I look up and see you in field goal range ready to seal it, then the game is over nebraska won.  I couldn't actually watch the game.  That's just how it looked on the computer.

They blocked the field goal and ran it back with less than 2 minutes to score a touchdown which put them in the lead by 1 point. That's the second week in a row that we lost by 1 point! We'll be getting a bowl game, but it won't be a good one.

I knew someone would use this as an excuse. Texas didn't lose because they failed to light up the scoreboard. Texas lost because an unranked team scored 48 points on them. That's got nothing to do with a quarterback.

I still want to see what the team with Moss and Penington would have done with a DI schedule.  Montana was as good as the lower average teams that year and got thrashed in the fashion that they did.  At the time no NFL corner could cover moss let alone college.

Yeah but with Pennigton they they'd have done even more.  I thought a couple of linemen graduated too, but it's hard to remember.  That was a seriously good team.  Not that I'd get an argument from you on that.

Back then if they scored less than 40 it was a bad day. Now, we are lucky to score 30 points.

so were they both on the team the first year in 1-A?  I can't remember crap it appears.  In fairness I'm on the west coast and a big 12 fan.  I'm probably doing pretty well for that category of fan.

Just thought I'd revive this, to give AlanS17 a congrats.  Great job.  The spin doctors were out to blame Texas, but I saw an entire A&M team leave everything on the field.  Way to go and thanks from the Sooner Nation.

Well we had a lot of legit off-sides calls against us. I kept watching them jump the line. I agree on that pass interference, though. He totally face-masked our guy.

I'm also pretty sure that ejection occured because even though the interception had taken place, I think the ball wasalready considered dead.If that's the csae, he desrved ejection. It woulod have been helpful to see it all zoomed out so we could see everything at once.

Either way, we won. That's all I really need to know. Lane and McGee are both sophmores, and Goodson is a freshman. The Big 12 south better watch out!

Did have to laugh during the OU/OSU game where the announcer kept saying "The Longhorns beat Texas in an upset in Austin yesterday".

That's hysterical.  I was too wound up in the game to notice, but that is just awsome and so typical of the fox announcers.  They are all soooo bad.  They miss obvious calls and scream fumble when the guy had been down for like 8 seconds.  Those guys drive me nuts.  I hate Brent Mussberger too.  Am I alone on that one?  Kieth Jackson was my favorite growing up and all the way until he got too old to do it right.

Cal was overrated most of the year but they are still a good team.  Their speed is no joke.  I think A&M should win but Vegas thinks it will be Cal.  I don't think they have guys that can handle Lane, but if Cal is able to gang tackle enough that could be trouble.  The Holiday bowl is always fun, I expect the same this year.


edit:  lol. I put Mcneal instead of Lane.  That guy still haunts me.
