Serial Port and Delphi
« on: November 10, 2006, 06:08:57 pm »
Does anyone know of a simple free serial com port code/ component to use with Delphi 7?

I don't want to do anything fancy. Just send only. No handshaking

The stuff I have found is for old versions of delphi or will cost US$100.

That sounds crazy but I have wasted enough time looking (Many hours).

Some stuff I found works OK but far from ideal.

Any help would be appreciated. I want to work on the Serial LCD/Plug in but have been wasting what little time I have on this
