i am thinking of buying an arcadevga and a jpac and i wanna know if i can work both the monitor and the joysticks with out an arcade switching PSU..

i know this has probaby been asked before but i dont need a psu at all right and i can go ahead and unhook it right??

let me know what i got do..

No you don’t need the switching PSU. It’s only needed for an original PCB arcade game. DO NOT remove the monitor isolating transformer if one is fitted.

the only exception to the you dont need the psu rule that I have found is if the cab is using one of the hantarex us-250 psu's as these also provide the isolation to the monitor (or here in the uk stepdown to 110v and isolation)
