Graphically Challenged Seeks Help

Hello.  I am looking for a way to put together a simple animation sequence with that would in some way present "BIGDAWG & BOO'S CLASSIC ARCADE" on screen then go blank.   I'm trying to customize my cabinet and something short and sweet with perhaps a sound effect or quick jingle to use as an intro would be kickass.

Any programs that accomplish this task easily for a newb?   Anyone willing to help a bro out?
