Hello! My first post here

I am on a road that has been used many times... the road to build my Arcade Cabinet!
But I need some help ;0
I am in the process of gathering all the parts to build my Cabinet - I have my plans all drawn up and blueprinted.
I just do not know which parts are the best parts to use - I have 2 different area's that I am confused with, and would love some help if possible? I don't know is that is done around here ;0
In my research in looking for quality parts for my Cabinet, I found tons of infomation and parts, etc. The problem is I have no experence with any of the parts, so I don't know which part(s) are quality, and which are inferior parts. I am not a total newbie, I did some research and I feel I have hit the wall in terms of just using google. So here I am ! :0
1: I have decided to purchase Joysticks from Happ controls, since they seem to be the best. The only problem is I do not know the difference between their Happ Controls Competition Joysticks and their 'Perfect 360 Happ Control' Joystick. The games I plan to play alot are Fighting game, brawlers, and shooters. Also sometimes classic games, such as Pac-Man ( I am going to put a dedicated 4 way Joystick so no worries about that ). Facts and Opinions ( espically owner opinions! ) are MOST WELCOME!

2: Ahh, the Monitor selection. I have found this to be very confusing, mind boggling, etc. First you have PC montiors, then TV's, and then 'real' arcade monitors which sorta scare me

Right now I have a 27" Panasonic TV with S-Video which is a pretty good TV, but the other option is to buy a 22" PC Monitor, which I would run at 1024X768 at 85Hz. I have a problem where I need a high refresh rate or I get severe headaches, so I need at least 85hz or better. I saw refresh rates around 15hz for arcade monitors (?? I don't really understand them too much ) which if that 15hz is the entire screen would throw me into convulsions in 5 seconds if I tried to use them. Opinions? Should I go with the 27" S-Video TV at TV resolutions, or a 22" PC monitor?
Thanks for all the help if you choose to help!

When I finish my cab, I hope I can submit it to the website here so others can see it!
Also, when it's done I plan to post my experences with building it as a first time cabinet builder.

Hopefully I can spare future newbies some pain I am sure to run into in the next couple of weeks ;0
