ROM COVERSION:
Click on the "convertor" file to get access to the "romcnv" program. One will need to convert such Mame CPS2 Rom so that the PSP can recognize it. Take the CPS2 Rom file and drag it on top of the "romcnv" program and it'll generate a bunch of files into the "temp" folder...upon successful completion of converted files -- it will be zipped up & placed in the "cache" folder.
Drag the zipped CPS2 Game Rom & place it into the PSP's "cps2psp" Rom directory of your CPS2psp test ver. 3 folder.
Also, drag & place the newly converted "zipped cache file" & place into the PSP's CPSpsp test ver. 3 directory's "cache" file (in the cps2psp file). Both Rom file & zipped up cache file must remain zipped up in order for the emu program to work properly.
Exit your PSP's USB utility program and proceed to the folder marked "memory stick" under the 'Game' icon and select the CPSPSP test 3 emu and hit button "X" to boot it up.
Your successfully uploaded CPS2 Rom + zipped cache file now is presented on the PSP screen with the title name of the game...press down to highlight it and press button "O" to boot it up.
To exit this CPS2psp Test version 3 emu program, simply hit the "Home" button on the PSP and it will ask you if you want to quit. Select "Yes" and hit button "X" to confirm and it'll take you back to the main PSP GUI (Graphical User Interface) screen.

CONFIGURATION:
Sorry about that above button input command which calls up the CPS2 menu setting...that is for adjusting the CPS2 "A & B" board setup. (One can adjust the game's arcade operator settings to their liking and save it directly to the Memory Stick Pro Duo itself for posterity.)
Here's the proper button input command to call up the main CPS2 Test ver. 5 emu program: Press and hold "Select" and "Start" at the same time to bring up the "Main Menu" screen.
Select Game Configuration by using the circle button which'll bring up a list of thirteen different options to choose from...
Select the "Stretch Screen" option output to either one of four different screen size adjustment options: Off (Original), 4:3, 24:17 or 16:9 aspect ratio. (Either 4:3 or 24:17 screen size option works best on the PSP screen given that it's native resolution is at a crisp 480 x 242 setting.) If you are playing with either CPS2 shmup roms of 19XX or Dimahoo, then the additional option to properly "Tate" will come up by selecting the "Rotate Screen" option -- select "No" to tate it to original arcade screen aspect orientation. (Otherwise, by selecting "Yes" option will display the game in "Yoko" mode.) Pick either option that best fits your needs. ^_~
