zSnes & Mamewah
« on: October 25, 2006, 09:12:03 am »
As the mamewah forum is unavailble at the moment. I thought i would ask this on here.

I'm running mamewah v1.62 and have the latest version of Zsnes (both windows and dos).. The zsnes files are in .zip format and do work when using the windows version of the emulator.  However i would like to use this through mamewah, but try as i might i cannot get it to work.

Could someone give me an example .ini file or even just the emulator_command_line that would allow either version to work?? (i take it the dos version would be better than the windows?? Or is there a command that will allow the windows version to run without the GUI and automatically load the game selected in mamewah)

Thanks for the help in advance :)

Cheers John, after consulting you .ini file i realised i'd missed the w from the end of znesw.exe so  mine was reading zsnes.exe

Now is there anyway to get to exit straight back to mamewah when i press escape, rather than going to the config type screen???

yes. if you open the zsnes ini file you find a line similar to disableGUI. just trigger that setting and zsnes will exit using escape

(the setting may be called hidegui, showgui or similar, don't remember exactly, but you'll find it)
