Interesting story about a car built by a 17 year old aspiring mechanic in the 1930s - as told by Jay Leno, who now owns the car:

Very cool is right.  I just forwarded that link to a bunch of car nuts I know.  Thanks!

I'm a little conflicted about it.  If I'm reading this correctly a guy gives Jay Leno (a multi-millionaire) a one-of-a kind 70-year old car.  Jay Leno accepts it.  Then he modifies it?  I'm not talking about a new carburetor and fuel pump.  I'm talking about putting scoops on the body and removing the fender-mounted wheels to make the car look sleeker.

And then, to top it all off, he doesn't even pay the guy a visit?  Jay's been restoring/modding the guy's car for years for his own personal collection and the guy dies having never even met him?

Cool car, though.
