Poll

Do you frequent byoac while working?

Heck Yeah! All the time!
Only during breaks. (Yeah, right)
No. I am an upstanding, moral citizen.
I go on my own time, but I would go at work if I could.
I am a loser and am unemployed so I am always here. (AKA, the 10,000 post club answer) Just Kidding!

To whomever voted #2, having limited net access on your work computer doesn't count as being a moral, upstanding citizen... that is what option #3 was for.  :laugh2:

I go home and tell my wife about all the neat stuff I learn during the day...then she asks me if I did any work at all.  ;D.

I work, it is just in very intense bursts. I blame it on adult ADD.  ;)
Read up on it, I bet 95% of us on this board has it according to the symptoms.  ;D

My job openly allows me to be in the net while I work, since I am a computer lab supervisor.

me being on the BYOAC in the middle of a class period is what I shouldn't be doing...

I don't visit while I'm working, only when I should be working.  So I chose #2.  I just take a lot of prolonged breaks.

I believe that makes me the saddest of all.  I do landscaping, so you know I'm not even able to be online at work.  Yep, all those stats are earned at home ::)

Although I do earn a big share of those stats in the wintertime when I'm laid off / partially unemployed :dunno

For as much as I'm on the damn computer, I SHOULD get a job where I could surf at work.

Personally, I hate sitting in front of a computer all day at work. I would much rather be physically tired than mentally tired at the end of the day.

I agree with that one.  Plus my body agrees with physical work more than sitting in a chair all day.  Ironic, really.  My grandfather did construction his whole life after leaving the USMC.  He always told me "get an education, get a nice easy office job so you don't wreck your body by the time you're 50 like me".  Turns out sitting in an office chair 9 hours a day destroys my neck, aggravates back problems, wears out your vision... I'm in more pain after a 45 hour office work week than I ever was doing standup physical labor for 50.
