Monitor adjustment problem
« on: October 15, 2006, 02:29:57 pm »
Hello,
There is a problem with my arcade monitor related to adjustments. When I have done settings of a particular game it should remain same after I close my machine and reopen it the other day .... the problem is that the screen size isn't the same the next day i open it.I have to redo the adjustments every other day for the same game why could this be happening ?

I'm assuming this is a digital monitor, and not an analog one?

I'm not so sure about that whether its digital or analogue ... but it plays standard resolution games 15 khz.

Oh, the software setting are changing?

Detail exactly how you're doing what you're doing.

I have got this orion chassis 20''.Now I will tell you the problem in detail...say for example I plugged in a double dragon jamma pcb to my arcade cab....I have done all the settings perfectly for image size...Now when I will close the machine and reopen it the next day those settings will not remain the same....the horizontal size will get stretched and vertical size will get stretch....the image will not be in perfect manner as it was when I switched it off the previous day.No one is touching the adjustment pots the monitor is doing the things on its own and I am not even swapping the pcb , its the same game then why do I have to do the settings every day for the same game. This monitor has a remote control adjustment board.

this is the kortek kt-m tube with the orion chassis correct?
well either someone sold you a duff chassis with loads of caps on their way out or your yoke and chassis are not a perfect match
