NDS Flashme firmware questions
« on: October 12, 2006, 08:02:22 pm »
I tried running a few emulators and games on my NDS and I'm finding that some of them dont seem to load.   Just wondering if I do the flashme firmware upgrade, will it solve some of these issue's?

I currently have the older style NDS along with the Passkey 2( I think) and the M3 (SD version).

What advantages will I have if I install the firmware upgrade, besides just not having to use the pass key?  Will I be able to run more homebrews etc?

Thanks!

Have you loaded the latest M3 firmware on teh M3 cart?  Also, try hitting start instead of a to load homebrew as sometimes it needs to load as a demo to actually run.

The flashme shouldn't effect it.  With that said, there is no reason not to run the flashme becasue I hate using the stupid passme devise

I think Im at least one release behind on my M3 firmware upgrade, so maybe I'll give that a go!   Also I've tried loading is as a Demo and still no luck.  I'll bet the M3 upgrade will solve the issue.

Thanks for the help!

Frodo c-64 emulator,   I've researched it a little and it appears that there is some issue with running it on the M3 SD version.

Can all DS's be flashed with Flashme? can the colored DS's like the red MarioKart DS and the pink and blue Nintendog DS's also be flashed? I'm talking about the older Special Edition ones not the DS Lights.
