colour missing

ive a monitor originally from a (air bike cop) cab cant really get to it properly in the cab its in but it just has brent leasure and a serial....
anyhow there seens to be a colour missing i think red maybee?
im running moonwalker pcb and its working fine apart from its full of blue & yellows looks better in my other cab....
any ideas ive twiddled with all the pots on the rear of the monitor none seem to ajust the colour?

in the u.k i guess,first we need the model number and make of the monitor
when a colour goes its down one of a few things;colour drive transistor,dry solder joints,missing colour signal from the game board,faulty decoder i/c on the monitor or at worst a faulty gun in the tube-if you don't know your monitor details take a pic and post it here(i bet its a hantarex)

here is some serials ive managed to get....
yep its a uk cab

a brent leasure sticker serial 20897
chassis  number 497228
& wells & gardner 19k7601

also its 1990
+ the video ground is not on the jamma loom can it use any ground on the jamma loom ?

any ideas

don't worry about the ground,check for bad solder joints on the neck card also meter all the colour input voltages

HI i wouldnt no where to start....
 
i do have another problem with this monitor when switched on it starts to make a fizzing noise... at first then go's away.... but taking a look when ive switched it on today the rubber sucker thingy that plugs into the tube is slightly arcing in the center as if its cracked...
could i replace the sucker thing....???

another question for u experts i have 2 of these monitors both same make and model but they look completly different??

that sucker thing is the anode cap on the ht wire(depending on the size tube there could be up to 30000volts on that).they can be changed because inside its just a wire soldered to a spring clip
all this really is not a job for someone without experience,where in the u.k are you?
i don't know why your chassis look different perhaps a photo of each will shed some light

you should be able to get an anode cap at any tv repair shop
the colour problems are down to the colour background and gain pots on the neck card,these need adjusting

an update here
the red keeps coming on and more off than on & if you slap the side of the cab if flicks on & off ...
ive ajusted the pots on the neckcard to no avail?

any ideas ?

Cracked solder joints.  Check the video connector for starters and the red drive transistor on the neckboard.
