Mamewah beta ( v1.62b12 ) --> configuring other emus
« on: September 22, 2006, 11:16:09 am »
-->FYI: was getting SQL errors on the official mamewah board ...

hey all

Having a little trouble decyphering how to setup the command line arguments/mask/whatever for other emulators.

Part of it is not understanding how the different list generation methods "work" and how mamewah uses those to generate the launching arguments...

In specific what would be different from the Zinc instructions HERE when it comes to this beta release.

Is there a list somewhere of all the different [name] {nodosbox} type variable/placeholder/arguments thingie and describes what they do?

Are the premade configurations that are out on the net or via mamewah configuration tools still valid with this beta or ???

any guidance/tips/links/etc would be appreciated.

messing with the {dosbox/nodosbox}{safelaunch/nosafelaunch/autosafelaunch} only affected whether the game would launch on top or bottom of everything else (i.e. had to be on top to work right). None of those had any affect on generating a rom list, just playing them. But I don't know what I'm doing either as you could tell from my topic. Where's minwah when you need him?  ;)
