Light gun question.
« on: September 21, 2006, 09:05:06 pm »
I am building a MAME cabinet right now and I would like it to have light guns included. I don't really want to pay $100 per gun so I was wondering if I could get PS2 or Xbox light guns to work with a PC by using a PS2-USB adapter. If they wouldn't, can someone show me a cheap USB light gun? Thanks.

Get a TopGunLCD, they range around $30-$40 depending on where you get them.

LikSang.com sells them

LikSang.com is based in Tokyo so the shipping is around 30 or 40.  Do you know of anywhere else to get them where the shipping wouldn't be so high?

Actually, shipping is much cheaper than that. For me (I live in Atlanta, GA) it was only $16 for Global Priority, which arrived in under a week.

Check it out: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=266&products_id=8565&PHPSESSID=1dcb10620f269f30d2b8cbc5431187cb

Your not gonna find a better gun for your money, considering ACTLabs guns are around $70+ nowadays.

39.95 + shipping, and they're US based. It's where I got mine, took, umm, 4 days to get.
$6.75 the hard way-one quarter at a time.

It won't screw up even though it will be going through the cabinet screen too?
