Is anyone running DOS mame with an ATI Radeon video card?
« on: September 17, 2006, 10:04:59 pm »
Hello from Maine,

I have been experimenting with DOS MAME and TV out, it works with nVidia Geforce cards, no muss no fuss. But the quality of picture is questionable (I'm getting "ghostly shadows" in MAME games, I don't know how else to describe it)

I've read that the Radeon's TV out quality is so great and ordered a couple, both of them work in DOS during POST but then freeze when the FE or MAME starts.

Is anyone using a Radeon card in DOS? Did you need a driver or something?

Thank you,
craig
