I am trying two purchase 2 crossbows from EBay .
My Father  in law has a pay pal account.
he has 2 credit cards show up on his profile.

problem starts : pay pal asks for card ( select card )

Pay pal switches screens and says this card is  registered.  :hissy:

If he has cards on file, you won't have to put in a CC number and Security code.

Just hit the "Send Money" tab up top, put in the address of the seller, and then the amount.  On the next page, it will show you where the funds are coming from (which credit card), and you can change it if you need to.
first off your and idiot

Man I love the internet, haha.

Their number is super easy to find:

Scroll to the bottom of any page, click Contact Us. Then on the next page under the Help by Phone, click Service Center

I just got off the phone with father in law.
Man was very concerned!
He is 71 and gets excited fast.
some thing about, He has to activate his account.  first credit card he used has expired.
Then he said some thing about daywane's account?
daywane is me?! I am not to sure about this one since I have no credit cards.
I told him to relax. Nothing has been paid out as of yet. tomorrow I will call the above PH# and let them talk to the both of us.
get rid of any daywane account!
get his account going.
he just got lost with what the operator was saying.
plus the cross bows were under my name on eBay
That is the hold up. i think

we do not use pay pal but 1 or 2 times a year
some times I get excited and do a Buy it Now on eBay before I check for money orders as a option ( not often but I think I have done this like 3 times in 5 years)
and every now and then some items we want are pay pal only
Like my Daughters collage books
( she just started nursing school, Midway collage in Midway KY, I about died on what you guys pay for books!!!! *Its a Blankity blank RIP OFF! )
$150 for 1 stinking book!!!!!!
and we had 7 more to go  :timebomb: :banghead:
well I am babeling sorry,,,,
I will post tomarrow how things went.
thanks for the PH #
It might have been EZ for some of you to find...... now try it with a 71 year old half deaf retired marine gunny sargeant yelling in your ear   :dunno
see if you do not get a twitch in your left cheek and scream for help  :dizzy:
thanks even if it was a simple fix. I still was swamped and bogged down.

Called paypal....
Rep was rude as heck.
best explanation I got was Paypal will not do any auction that is a weapon.
knives,crossbows etc...
This was BS because collage books are not weapons .
I tried to explain this to the other person on the phone a he said a big ho-ray for you and hung up?
I gave up and sent money order.
I did find a spot on paypals web sight to send a email
I explained my problem
also about the RUDE person on the phone
and Help desk should not try to second guess the customer all the time and deal with the publick ( you know the people who pay you)
