the trading card thread is a good example. last night, once i could finally look at my PC screen and not get nauseous (just got over the flu, had vertigo) i collated my Epic Illustrated magazine collection so i could see what i still needed from ebay. saves me going throgh the pile each time

Hmm. . . it was a few years ago but I recall working on a Warlords cocktail board AND a Berzerk monitor issue, at the same time, while watching a baseball game AND drinking a wine cooler. In my bermuda shorts with piggy slippers on.

I don't know if that's "nerdy" or "nerdy" with a dash of "faggy" thrown in, tho.

Venture outside of the tourist area and you'll see an entirely different city. One that the city gov't shits on yearly in favor of the tourist industry.

What would you expect in a town where they will spend a million dollars to renovate a parking lot in the tourist section... while at the same time the middle school doesn't even have enough textbooks for the kids to take their books home at night? Or they build a bridge over the harbor to the next town but don't finish the Salem side, leaving a sudden 90 degree turn on a bridge with no prior warning where people have driven right off and died in the water? Or a smaller bridge gets shut down every summer for 8 straight years for no reason other than that it leads straight from the richest tourist area to the poorest residential area?

In regards to the bridge turn and drowning and such. . .

It's their own fault. I mean, if they WEREN'T *witches*, they would have floated.

I just broke my ankle and I watched the donkey kong attract mode for about 1 hour hoping to see that damn monkey make it to the top platform. I guess thats more sad than nerdy.
