I don't believe there is a "collection" location anywhere other than the small number on Mala's website.

We can't assume that Mala should keep their layouts up to date with every single submission so that's something we will have to do.

What you CAN do is this, gather up all the links to all the MALA layouts you know of and start a thread titled "Get you MALA layouts here (and upload your own creations)" or something like that.

In order for it to work you will have to have a good number linked to, to begin with.  Also, every link must have a picture preview on the board because most people won't go through the trouble of downloading it and what not if they can't see what it will look like.

Good luck!!

Actually any MameWah layout can be converted into a Mala layout rather easily by using the MalaLayout application (located on Mala homepage under the "Layouts" section).

In my "Mala - How To Guide", I mention the following sites for MameWah layouts:

http://www.emuchrist.org/cpviewer/mamewahlayouts.htm

http://www.mamewah-setup.co.uk/html/layouts_page1.shtml

There are plenty to chose from at these sites ...... if you search the web you will be able to find more scattered about......

Totally forgot about converting layouts.

Forget the Mala layout thread, there are TONS of mamewah layouts to be found.

Thanks unclet!

I obtained all the layouts I am using for each of my emulators from John's site...

   http://www.emuchrist.org/cpviewer/mamewahlayouts.htm

... and used the Mala converter on each of them.    Not sure what you are asking or even when PPIC means.....   ::)

Well, the thing is I use about 30 different layouts in MALA ... one per each emulator I have configured.   MALA will allow you to use only one Layout for ALL emulators configured as well as letting you use one layout for EACH emulator configured.

So instead of me posting snapshots of each MALA layout image I am using ...just go to the site I mentioned above and download them ..... since those are the exact layouts I am using.....
