« on: September 15, 2006, 09:56:42 am »
I have Golden Tee 99....Can I upgrade merely by changing the pcb to a more recent year.

Also, what games can I play in the Golden Tee cabinet that use a rolla ball?

Tee is Jamma Correct?

Suggest talking to tech support at the games' manufacturer, www.itsgames.com for specific answers.

Definitely it's JAMMA, but power requirements changed depending on whether you have a green circuit board or a red circuit board. Newer versions also have a hard drive connected to the game board.

You can swap boards from any golden tee 3D, 97, 98, 99, 2k, and classic. Since you have 2k the only upgrade is to classic. But you can down grade also for different courses. All the golden tees listed here have the same look and play, just different courses. You can also swap a board from world class bowling too. If looking for boards they made two types: 1) 3 tier board 2)single tier. They both have their problems but the single tier is the one I would buy. You can also upgarde/downgrade with swaping out the rom chips. If you go this path make sure you are getting the right chips for your board (single vs 3 tier) and apply to your AAMA serial number on your board.
