CPV2 and Mamewah, How?
« on: September 11, 2006, 11:28:02 am »
I've more or less got my cab finished now and Im looking to add a few bells and whistles to it.

From what I've seen CPV2 looks great and will stop all the 'what button do I use' questions. But I have a couple of question regarding this.

1. How does CPV2 work, do you press a button while in Mamewah to view the controls for that game or can you get it to show the controls before each game starts?

2. How do I set mamewah up to use CPV2? I've done several searches but nothing is making much sence  :dizzy:

Thanks for the help in advance :)

You configure a key in MameWAH to launch an external application, CPV2. Then, while looking the game is highlighted in the MameWAH gamelist you press the key you configured and CPV2 loads your control panel images with the proper buttons labeled. For CPV2 in MameWAH the commandline syntax would be:

c:\cpv2\cpv2.exe -r=[name] -c=[cloneof]

Hope this helps,
John
