david656:
hi guys just manage to make out sound from one of the speakers when rigged up to a battery powered mixer board thing and my ipod so think its working but now need to know.... well how to i make these loud?????

p.s.  say 8 ohm and 3-5W dont want to really put a great massive amplifier in the machine for three small speakers

grantspain:
these cabs were not designed to play loud music,if you really wanted you could replace those speakers with higher wattage types and install an amp(you could get all that from maplins),your ipod does not have an amplified output so you will not get the speakers any louder-did you get the fan to run?

david656:
um well i got the wire and so forth but dont no how to...

1. keep the wire in the little spade connector and 2. keep the fuse in the plug its a bog standard plug but a shavers 1 amp fuse.

as for the speakers the sound coming out of them is no louder than putting the tv on lvl 2 so i mean there is hardly any sound as you say the ipod isn't that powerful but with out useing a amp how can i get the original speakers to the sound lvl they should be would have been etc???????

grantspain:
you could use a standard mains lead(cut it off your mums hairdryer-not really),your mains plug would have either a 5 amp or 13 amp fuse(you can use that to test the fan)-the little spade terminals, you could cut each wire to the fan and insert the wires in some connector block to test.
the original speakers will be level once you install a system which has a stereo output from a output amplifier or you could wire the speakers in mono

david656:
well put it this way there are 2 pins there wasn't a wire on it when i got it i dont think i could look in the garage for one but at the minute i have to nice small spade connectors from maplins and 3 core wire and would a 3a fuse do then on 5 or 13 amp?????

chat about the speakers later
